Leaving the Firm
There may be several steps to take as you prepare for your departure from the Firm. You may wish to continue some of the benefits offered at Paul Hastings. Please take a few minutes to review the information below.
Contact Information
Please ensure we have your correct contact information for updates, statements, taxes, and legal notices.
Health Coverage
Consider whether you will continue your coverage through COBRA
Enroll in your new employer’s plan, or
Get coverage through a healthcare exchange.
COBRA Notice
If you are enrolled in the U.S. Health Plan, you will be sent your COBRA continuation information directly from WEX, our third-party administrator.
Supplemental Life and AD&D
These coverages cease on the last day of the month coinciding with or next following your last day of full time work at the firm. Conversion and/or portability forms are available on the Plan Documents page. You must complete and submit your forms within 30 days of your last day of full time work at the firm.
Retirement Plan
Consider what you want to do with your retirement funds. Review the appropriate Summary of Benefits for information on how to proceed.
