Office Safety
Office Safety
Paul Hastings maintains a safe and healthful work environment. We continue to review health and safety policies, emergency preparedness, and responsibilities to establish safe practices at all times by all Employees and Partners. It is also the duty of each employee to accept and follow established safety regulations and procedures.
The Firm’s Office Safety Program is comprised of several components:
- Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)– accident prevention
- Office Safety – maintains compliance with Federal and State health and safety codes
- Ergonomics – creates a safe and effective workstation and environment
- Workers’ Compensation – provides medical benefits and wage replacement for employees injured in the course of employment.
Injury Reporting Requirements
Any injury that occurs on the job, even a slight cut or strain, must be reported to management as soon as possible. In no circumstance, except an emergency, should an employee leave a shift without reporting an injury that occurred.
When you have an accident, everyone loses: you, your family, your colleagues and Paul Hastings. Please work safely. It’s good for everyone.
Workers’ Compensation
Provides medical benefits and wage replacement for employees injured in the course of employment.
