What is Long Term Care?

Long Term Care (LTC) is an optional coverage which provides support and financial resources that help cover the cost of long-term care you might need in the event of an illness, accident, or through the normal effects of aging. LTC may be provided in various settings including, but not limited to:

• The individual’s own home
• An adult day care facility
• A nursing or other residential care facility
